The Apostle Peter experienced a trance on a rooftop. The word trance in the Greek New Testament means “a displacement of the mind.”  Peter had to get “out of his mind” so he could receive the mind of Christ concerning bringing the gospel to the Gentile people. When the church got the Gentile issue right, it transformed them into the body that God intended it to be. Being prejudice – even in our minds – creates walls between individuals and groups, preventing us from sharing God’s love and the gospel with other people.  God is calling us to get our of our minds so we can receive His mind.
