When the holy day of Pentecost came 50 days after Passover, they were gathered together in one place. Picture yourself among the disciples:

A sound roars from the sky without warning, the roar of a violent wind, and the whole house where you are gathered reverberates with the sound. Then a flame appears, dividing into smaller flames and spreading from one person to the next. All the people present are filled with the Holy Spirit and begin speaking in languages they’ve never spoken, as the Spirit empowers them… this is the fulfillment of the prophecy of Joel. Hear what God says!

In the last days,
I will offer My Spirit to humanity as a libation.
Your children will boldly speak the word of the Lord.
Young warriors will see visions,
and your elders will dream dreams.
Yes, in those days I shall offer My Spirit to all servants,
both male and female, and they will boldly speak My word….
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord
will be liberated into God’s freedom and peace.

  • This Week: Camp Morley— Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit during Camp Morley. Pray for our youth to have life-changing encounters with God that will forever mark their hearts. Pray for protection, love, unity and the Kingdom of God to manifest with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
  • Wednesday: Intercessory Prayer Meeting— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
  • Wednesday: Journey Tribe (Young Adult Ministry)— Join us from 6:30-9:00 p.m. for a Cook Out at the Stein Cabin! See the Journey TribeFacebook page for details or call Jenny [704-807-0906].
  • Thursday: Men of Fire (Men’s Fellowship)— 7:00 p.m. in the church’s back building. Contact Tommy McCraw [[email protected]] for more information.
  • Sunday, June 16: Lunch with Crowns of Glory (Ages 50+)— Plan to join us after church next week at the Jolly’s house for lunch and a time of fellowship. Contact Pam [704-663-7775 /[email protected]] for details.
  • July 15-19: ROAR VBS— 6:00-9:00 p.m. at RiverLife. Join us on a safari adventure! Come along on our adventure through the wild. We will see amazing animals, meet new friends, and learn lots of fun facts. It’s going to be an amazing week! Children Ages 4-11 are welcome! Registration is required. Online Registration will be open until Friday, July 5.
The Father’s Table provides food assistance to families in our fellowship and community. Food and monetary donations are welcome! For monetary donations, please use our app or put “Father’s Table” on the memo line of your gift.
Please consider supporting the Father’s Table with a monetary donation or by purchasing any of the following items this month:

  • Microwave & Large Crockpot (if used, must be in good working condition)
  • Breakfast: boxed cereal for kids, flavored instant oatmeal, pancake mix & syrup
  • Sides: bags of white rice, macaroni & cheese, seasoned rice or noodles, etc.
  • Snacks for Kids
  • Meat on Sale: (Freeze It & Bring It on Sunday Mornings!) bacon, sausage & chicken
