What Is the Healing Rooms Prayer Ministry?
The modern Healing Rooms movement began in the late 1990s, though the concept of having dedicated spaces for healing prayer dates back to the early 20th century. It was inspired by the biblical examples of people gathering to receive healing from Jesus.
The main purpose is to provide a place for people to receive prayer for healing from teams of believing Christians. The focus is on physical healing but also on inner healing of emotional, mental, and spiritual issues.
Does God still heal today?
Absolutely! Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
"People were utterly astonished, saying 'He has done all things well; He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.'" - Mark 7:37
What happens during the ministry time?
Our team consists of compassionate volunteers who have been trained to offer prayer for healing of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. When you request prayer at the Healing Rooms, a team member will listen to your specific needs and pray over you individually. We anoint with oil and lay hands in prayer according to biblical teaching, if desired. All requests are kept strictly confidential.
How much does it cost?
We look forward to standing with you and trusting in God's restorative power and love. Healing Rooms prayer ministry is free of charge.
Receive Healing Prayer
The Healing Rooms are open every third Thursday of the month from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. There is no appointment necessary. Prayer by phone is also available.
If you or a loved one needs prayer for healing, join us on a Thursday evening when the rooms are open, fill out a quick survey about your needs, and receive prayer for healing in faith.
