• This Morning: Sunday Morning Worship Service— Join us in-person in our sanctuary or virtually (on our RiverLife Media YouTube Channel or on our RiverLife Media Facebook page) for our morning worship service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Byron Wicker will share.
• This Morning: High School Youth Sunday School Class (Grades 9-12)— The high school youth Sunday school class will continue to meet on Sunday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the youth room in RiverLife’s back building. • Monday: Waffles & Worship (Young Adults)— 6:30 p.m. at Brian and Jo’s place in Cornelius. Waffles and Worship is a young adult group (from high school up to around age 30) that seeks to create a place for community and fellowship while also remembering that we have a greater dream and destiny to pursue as believers. Our meetings consist of a short time for fellowship and waffles starting at 6:30 p.m. We then transition around 7:00 p.m. to a time of worship followed by a Bible study. We then like to wrap up our meetings by praying for and encouraging one another as we face the week ahead of us. • Monday: September Sojourn Women’s Ministry Meeting— You are invited to join us from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary for our September Sojourn Women’s Ministry Meeting with Holly Tomlinson! Sojourn is a place for women to connect, catch-up, be encouraged, feel loved and build faith as we share our stories of struggle and triumph. Contact Paula [[email protected]] for more information.
• Tuesday: Women in the Word— 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the sanctuary. Women in the Word is a Bible study and fellowship group led by Rhonda Bumgarner that meets on Tuesdays. We are about sharing our hearts, developing relationships and getting into the Word. Everyone is welcome! • JOIN US! Tuesday: nourish (Young Women’s Bible Study)—7:00-8:30 p.m. in the back building. nourish is a gathering place for young women (age 20-40’s) to connect through fellowship and studying God’s word. Over six weeks (September 6-October 11) we will dive into the study by Havilah Cunningham, “Leap Into Love: Living Present to My Purpose on the Planet.” We will cover topics such as self-abandonment, recovering ourselves, building confidence, and changing culture. This study will uncover the truth that you are an example of His most significant work. • Wednesday: Women’s Intercessory Prayer— 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We gather for a short time of worship followed by praying for Pastor Byron’s requests as well as Holy Spirit-led prayer. Contact Sue [[email protected]] for additional information.
• Wednesday: Tidal Wave (Middle School Youth in Grades 6-8)— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Our desire is to create an environment for middle schoolers to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord, in their knowledge and love of the Word, in their spiritual gifts and in worship. We also believe that social interaction is a key part of a group of this age and have plenty of opportunities for fun and activities. • Wednesday: High School Youth— 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the church’s back building. Students in grades 9-12 are invited to join us! Email Cory [[email protected]] for details.
• Friday: Crowns of Glory Gathering (Ages 55+)— The Crowns of Glory Life Group will gather at 12:00 noon at Lake Norman State Park for a picnic and fellowship! Please bring your own bag lunch and drink and join us at the Heron Shelter below the Visitor’s Center [759 State Park Rd, Troutman, NC 28166]. • Saturday: Men’s Prayer Group— 7:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room. This prayer time has been a free-flowing mixture of worship, testimony and prayer. We seek the Lord’s heart and pray accordingly! Please text Jeff Miller [704-775-6652] on Friday for our Saturday meeting details.

• Saturday, October 8: Love Life Baby Shower— 1:00-3:00 p.m. in RiverLife’s back building. You are invited to join us as we welcome and bless Baby LeMar and his mother! RSVP HERE. Several items of baby furniture are needed and can be gently-used: 1) a Changing Table, 2) a Crib, and 3) a Rocking Chair or Glider. Reach out to Cathy Hill if you have any questions!

• 2022 Building Fund: If you would like to make a contribution to the Building Fund to help pay off the mortgage on our church facility, cash or checks (made out to RLF and clearly labeled “Building Fund Offering”) can be placed in the offering plate or dropped in the offering box in the church foyer. Online donations can be made on our app or on our website by simply choosing “Building Fund Offering” from the drop-down Fund Menu.
