Dear RiverLife Family,
One month ago today the roof of our building broke! It has been a wild month. Today we received the first invoice covering the shoring/stabilizing the building. By the grace of God and your generosity we have the resources to cover this invoice! Thank you Lord and thank all of you for your prayers and generous hearts. We also have been able to cover all the expenses to cover the cost of rental at Amstar. I am thankful.
We are still working with the Structural Engineer on the design to repair the trusses. Once we have that finalized we will start the repair and putting the building back together. Things like this take longer than we think they should, but we are trusting the Lord that we are in His perfect timing. Pray we would resolve this sooner than later.
We are also working on different options concerning the insurance, etc. to cover all the cost we have incurred. We need much prayer around this.
Many of you have turned the table on me and have ‘preached’ some really good messages to me concerning all of this. I appreciate and have taken to heart what you are saying! Thank you. It helps more than you know. God is really doing something with our church body through all of this.
