Hello family:)
Can’t believe we’re already sending a third update. Time is flying by.
Yesterday was really good. We continued to see breakthrough in worship and the kids were really engaged throughout the day. There is something very different about this year although I can’t really put my finger on it. It’s good and God is all over it. It’s been amazing this year to see how He has been speaking to all of the team. He’ll give us information or guidance and then we’ll watch it unfold. It’s encouraging and really fun too.
Yesterday Rebecca started the day off by giving a great word about trusting God in the middle of our problems and to look to the person of Jesus to calm us in the storm and to provide for us. It was superb. Next year I think she should speak every day 🙂 Tommy spoke at the second meeting about how we all need a deliverer and that God will deliver us just like He delivered the Israelites. The kids have started calling Tommy ‘Grandfather’. He and Debbie have fallen in love with these kids and the kids have fallen in love with them. Yesterday we also got to watch the talent competition. There was singing, dancing, Bible drills, and even preaching. It’s a highlight of the trip for sure. We wrapped up the day with me speaking. The Lord put it on my heart to release destiny over the kids.
Today there will only be two morning meetings before the kids go home. Marlin is going to bring the glory in the morning meeting an then we will all share some closing thoughts before hearing testimonies in the second meeting. We’re really looking forward to hearing how The Lord has moved in the kids’ lives this week.
