About
Cory was born in Iowa and moved to Mooresville in 2003 and has been part of RiverLife ever since, serving in various roles including 13 years in youth ministry before being ordained as a pastor in 2025.
With 25 years of youth ministry experience and two degrees in Biblical Studies—including a Master of Arts from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary—he's passionate about teaching the Bible and creating space for people to encounter the Holy Spirit in life-giving and life-changing ways.
Cory's heart is for servant leadership, authentic relationships, and helping others grow in their faith. He loves RiverLife and the people who make it what it is.
Cory and his wife, Kristy, are proud parents to three kids: Owen, Wyatt, and Amelia.

In 1985, a small group of friends met at a home in the Mooresville area, starting what now is River Life Fellowship.
