John, Sue, and their family of five became part of the RiverLife family in 1999 while searching for a great church for their teenage children. Since joining, both have completed Christ's School of Ministry, and their two older children graduated from Mooresville Christian Academy, which was part of RiverLife for a season.
The Croleys moved to the Mooresville area in 1982 from northeast Ohio. As a retired field engineer, John has many interesting stories from the industries he worked with over the years.
John became an elder in 2006 and has a heart for evangelism and helping people in various ways. He served as volunteer coordinator for the RiverLife WNC Restoration Ministry, leading more than 30 people from RiverLife on day trips to the Swannanoa area to help reconstruct homes after Hurricane Helene's destruction.
The Croleys host a monthly life group at their home called Practical Christianity.
We value, above all else, the Presence of God, family and missions.
In 1985, a small group of friends met at a home in the Mooresville area, starting what now is River Life Fellowship.
