Dear People Who Keep Company With God,

I believe the church has entered a new season and Ephesian 3:10 is important. “To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places”.  The word “now” sticks out to me.

restoration photoI believe it is on the Father’s agenda to restore some of the losses we experienced in the last season (Joel 2:25-27). If anything has been stolen from you, just know that it was the enemy that stole it (2 Thess. 1:6), and that he must restore seven-fold what he stole.

We know John 10:10 states, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” (Amplified Bible).

Proverbs 6:31 reveals what happens when a thief is exposed. It says, “but if he is found out, he must restore seven times [what he stole]; he must give the whole substance of his house [if necessary – to meet his fine]” (Amplified Bible).

I believe the manifold wisdom of God is going to get unleashed on the powers of darkness, exposing how the enemy caused such loss and sorrow and he will have no choice, because the Lord will force him to pay us back seven times. Seven times represents full, complete and perfect payback.

I can’t tell you what that will look like or how it will work out in your life, but Acts 10:38 gives us some insight. It says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

Note it said, “Jesus of Nazareth,” not Jesus Christ or Jesus the Son of God. The Holy Spirit is emphasizing the humanness of Jesus so we would know the same burden removing and yoke destroying anointing (Is. 10:27) that rested upon Jesus when He walked on the earth is available to us.

It also says, “God was with him.” God is with us not against us – we are His family, His dearly loved sons and daughters. The Father has already given us the absolute best He had, His one of a kind precious Son, Jesus Christ. He is going to make sure His gift is not in vain.

It is time for us believers to quit blaming our Father for what the devil is doing. Sure, God could stop the devil, but in His unsearchable wisdom He has chosen to give that job to us (Psalm 115:16). And He gave us the anointing to get the job done. It is time for the people of God to start having there say so in what is happening in their sphere of influence (Ps. 107:2).

When this anointing begins to freely flow in and upon us then we know it is time for the God of peace to crush the enemy under our feet (Rom. 16:20) and we can go and plunder the devil’s trophy room (Matt. 12:29).

What can we practically do? I believe we begin by prayer and decree (Job 22:28). Jesus told the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8 to show that we must not simply accept the injustices that are committed against us and cross our arms, cry and feel helpless. We must stand up, resist and go before the Judge of all and cry out for justice against the enemy of our soul. Jesus promised us even the unjust judges of the earth will eventually relent so how much more our Father, who is the Judge will bring justice speedily.

Many Blessings, BW
