Dear RiverLife Family,

I am thankful to report the sanctuary roof is shored up and stabilized. The insulation in the ceiling has been removed and by tomorrow all the sheet rock will be removed. The room is close to being ready for the repair phase to begin. So construction type activity will be tapering off as we wait on the design for the fix.

The engineer has inspected the trusses, assessed the extent of the damage and is researching how to best repair them. He has not  said what caused the damage. Once the engineer is ready we will meet with him along with David Rummage to discuss a path forward for implementing the repair.

A claim’s person and Structural Engineer representing our insurance company came today and inspected the damages also. The Engineer will file a report to the insurance company within 10 business days. Upon receiving that report the insurance company will advise us of what they will do.

We can be thankful the shoring, stabilizing phase has gone very smooth and no one has been hurt. We have had the best of workers. The building will be repaired. The insurance reps were very professional, engaging and easy to work with.

Pray for the engineer to have wisdom for a simple, safe and secure repair.

Pray for favor with the insurance company.

Pray for the construction crew. God’s favor and blessings upon all of them and we would be able to get that same crew for the repair. They are amazing. After all this is over I want to be able to somehow bless these guys.

Pray for our finances to be blessed.

Pray for wisdom on every decision that must be made.

I will let you know once we have a path forward for the repair.

We will continue to meet at AmStar. Not sure how long just yet. It will be weeks, but not months. I am very thankful for AmStar and their hospitality. Pray for their business also.

We appreciate all your support, words of encouragement and devotion to the Lord Himself.

We will get through this to the other side and the Lord will cause all this to work for our good.

Shalom, Byron
