God’s Plan for the Church

God’s heart and plan for the church is that it would be a body of believers that are grounded in the Hesed (attachment) love of God. His attachment to us and in us flows outward to one another. We see examples of this attachment love displayed in the Book of Ruth. Ruth showed Hesed (attachment) to Naomi. Brain science now has confirmed that attachment is the source of joy. The church is designed for joy and to be joy generators. When we the church lean into Hesed love and attachment, we become the authentic church that creates space for a dwelling place of God’s Spirit.
