Have You Not Heard

We often yearn for a word from the Lord, anticipating that a new word will resolve our challenges. However, there are instances where a new revelation may not offer the solutions we seek (Isaiah 40:21). In such moments, we should revisit upon the wisdom already given to us (Ecclesiastes 9:11). When we do so, we begin to discern overlooked possibilities and recognize comparative advantages previously unseen. Then, we can pick ourselves up, encourage ourselves in the Lord (1 Samuel 30:6-8), and move forward into the life we’ve dreamed of.
