John, chapters 13 through 17 are known as Jesus’ Upper Room discourse. Jesus shares the depths of His heart. It happened during what we call the Last Supper. Just before Jesus went into the Garden of Gethsemane and was betrayed, arrested, and crucified, within 24 hours, Jesus Christ would be dead and buried. It has been rightly called the “holy of holies” of Scripture. It begins with God in Christ washing the feet of His disciples.
