Receiving the Mind of Christ

While at Mars Hill in Athens, Paul delivered a message widely praised as a model by many scholars, commentators, and preachers. Unfortunately, there were no miracles, but a few people were saved (Acts 17). When Paul moved on to Corinth, he did not deliver the same eloquent message as he did at Mars Hill (Acts 18). Instead, he focused on preaching about Christ as the wisdom and power of God, which proved to be very successful.
