Shed and Sprinkled Blood of Christ

Blood is so important to God that it is mentioned in the Bible about 700 times. King David referred to the “incorruptible” blood. Peter spoke of the “precious” blood, and John wrote of the “overcoming” power of the blood. Even in heaven, the blood of Christ is sprinkled (Hebrews 12:24). There would be no life in heaven apart from the sprinkled blood of the Lamb. Abel’s blood cries out for vengeance on his brother, Cain, who killed him. Jesus’ sprinkled blood speaks for forgiveness, reconciliation, restoration, and deliverance from all our enemies.
