The Crown of Thorns

Jesus came from heaven with His glory veiled within His human flesh. The veil, which was His flesh, had to be torn apart for His glory to be revealed to humanity (See Hebrews 10:19-20). John 18-21 shows what Peter would later call: “Jesus’ sufferings and the glory that would follow” (1 Peter 1:11). Peter also said His sufferings and glory are: “the grace that would come to us” (1 Peter 1:10). His sufferings and glory are essential if we are to come to the fullness of all the Lord have for us in these perilous times in which we live.
