The Power of Compassion

Compassion is love in action. It is a catalyst for healing, deliverance, and miracles. Compassion moves the heart of God to act on our behalf (Matthew 9:36, 14:14, & 20:34). The word, compassion did not exist in the Greek vocabulary before the gospels were written because no one had ever seen real love fully expressed until Jesus came and dwelt among us. They had to make up a word to describe what they saw in Jesus as He was moved by love.
