The Power of Let

The first word ever recorded as spoken by God was “Let.” This seemingly unassuming word, “let,” makes a remarkable appearance approximately 175 times in the Bible, notably nine times within the opening chapter of Genesis. Through this simple word, all of creation sprang into existence, as God proclaimed, “Let there be…” Our progress in the Kingdom of God is not propelled by our tireless efforts, fervor, or capabilities. Instead, we advance by letting go, letting God, and letting His grace work through us.
