The Real Lord’s Prayer

Jesus’ prayer in John 17 captures what is true from the beginning; God wants to be with His people. The opening sentences of the Bible, the Holy Spirit hovering over the face of the earth, to the last words of Scripture, “the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you,” show that the Presence of God with the people of God as an overarching theme of the Bible.
